Tethered to Reality

From the yearning stell, brilliance conferred upon the barbed wires.
The chiseled ends sparkle like golden blue crystals on daring rose petals.
Oceans locked and killed within the prison of reality,
As Ignorance shames, tortured and
Mutilated by the harshness of existence.
Deep within the heart, indignation lies silent.
Aspirations are but oddities.

Truths shackled, barred from embracing thoughts of tenderness.
Acceptance quenches the thirst of an indifferent odyssey,
Bearing fruit for the infertile system of deprivation.
Binding the grotesque with the modest, in an awkward tapestry
Of blind relationships.

Peals of laughter now tainted with a veneer of sympathy.
Cursed be life for birthing such needless emotions.
Redemptions stretch beyond the grasp of the bound
And the scattered grains of vehement curses.

Reason falters when attachments sicken.
Relationships scorn the tempest of modern dreams.

Alarms shatter the silence of unspoken exorcisms,
With sorrows reigning over the dim glow of triumph
Invisible to those eyes once engrossed in playful seeking.

Those flirtatious gestures, now despised by life,
Fall victim to the follies of unguarded, sour faiths.
Such selfless benevolence embodies the essence of wisdom and truth,
Where moaning is but a vain attempt to cling to life.
